the founder
Marie Corneloup
Marie Corneloup studied Law at Assas before joining Dauphine to study entrepreneurship and create her jewellery brand. With this goal in mind, she also took courses at the National Gemmology Institute alongside her studies. Coming from a family of artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs, Marie naturally gravitated towards creation. She finds a prosaic life unacceptable. It is the arts, once everything else is acquired, that allow for personal fulfillment.
Asserting her traditional and classic tastes, she believes more than anything in timeless pieces. These reflect elegance, simplicity, and harmony, which constitute the very essence of the much-claimed and envied French style.
The corollary of this identity is long-term sustainable manufacturing from an ethical, economic, and ecological perspective. In reality, this seemingly contemporary consonance is partly a return to practices that preceded exacerbated globalization.
