Gold
We exclusively source recycled gold, whose value, like all gold, depends on its caratage. In fact, many houses use it, as suppliers generally do not differentiate, unlike ours. Indeed, all of its gold is recycled. What is the benefit?
Recycled gold helps bypass ecological disaster and the scarcity of mines. Indeed, the gold mining industry is one of the most polluting in the world. To illustrate, the production of a 20-gram gold ring requires over 50,000 liters of water and emits, among other things, 415 kg of CO2.
However, this is not necessary since gold can be recycled. Nevertheless, currently, only 28% of the gold used annually is recycled gold. Furthermore, from a pragmatic point of view, with barely 50,000 tons of global reserves (identified and exploitable deposits under current conditions), mines will be depleted in just over 15 years. Complementarity is therefore essential.
