Marie Corneloup studied Law at Assas before joining Dauphine for an entrepreneurship program, with the aim of creating her own jewelry brand. To achieve this, she simultaneously took courses at the National Institute of Gemmology alongside her university studies. Coming from a family of artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs, Marie naturally gravitated towards creation. She believes that a mundane life is unacceptable. It is the arts, once other necessities are met, that allow for personal fulfillment.
Embracing her traditional and classic tastes, she believes more than anything in timeless pieces. These reflect elegance, simplicity, and harmony, which constitute the very essence of the much-touted and envied French style.
The corollary of this identity is long-term sustainable manufacturing from an ethical, economic, and ecological perspective. In reality, this seemingly contemporary assonance is partly a return to practices preceding exacerbated globalization.
